Over time, we grew from a tiny team of a handful of people to dozens, providing the industry with the juiciest breaking news and cutting-edge video coverage.
Today we pass on the torch to our event organizing and media production friends who have more recently developed outstanding news coverage and video teams dedicated to the gaming space, hopefully who I’ll be seeing at CoinGeek Conferences in the future.

The redevelopment was financed by a $455 million loan from New York State, approved in 2023. State officials have projected the project will generate $155 million in annual economic activity once fully operational, along with around $10 million annually in state and local tax revenue.
The redesigned complex features four distinct racing surfaces: a 1½-mile dirt track, two turf courses, and a one-mile Tapeta synthetic track.
The Tapeta surface will be used exclusively for winter racing, allowing Belmont to take over Aqueduct’s former winter schedule as NYRA consolidates its operations at Belmont and Saratoga.

The broader takeaway is about production strategy rather than innovation. Spinomenal’s catalog shows a provider that competes largely on breadth and speed, keeping a wide variety of themes live and continually topping them up.
That positioning has clear trade-offs. High-volume, template-driven studios rarely lead the market on standout mechanics. What they do offer is a steady pipeline for operators and a familiar, low-friction experience for players across a large library.
